Spirit of Community - Columbus, Ohio

Spirit of Community” is a celebration of Feddersen Community Center's supportive North Linden neighborhood and the care they provide for their center. A 2023 project of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department in joint with the City of Columbus, on a court renovated by former Ohio State head basketball coach, Chris and Lori Holtmann.

Our athletes, in athleisure wear as if passing through after one of the schools flanking the park, jump to shoot their shots, while the supportive hands of the community help them soar. Our subjects are two incredible humans who have ties to Columbus, one in her youth, the other as he seeks to continue his education. Both are skilled athletes, and more importantly they are empathic, responsible, driven, and involved teens.
