Memory Garden Mural, St. Mary’s, Ohio

A 2022 project organized by Arts Place and in part generously funded by the Ohio Arts Council. The goal of this painting was to bring color to the small city park that connects the the library to the main drag of shops, and with the loose theme of ‘creativity’ Alison Hess and I used it to celebrate our father and late mother’s preferred creative outlets. We wanted figures that would peek out at people driving by, and an abstracted color field background at the base for a photo backdrop.
